RE: Drip, Drip, Drip! Leaky Sink? No, It's Lifetime Income - Steem Basic Income Review

This is a great idea and project. Universal income has always seemed interesting to me outside of steem in the real world. If I were to delegate to @steembasicincome, would I get shares without getting sponsored?

I don't have a lot of SP but this seems like a good cause.

Keep your SP! Until you have at least 500 to get the slider bar do everything you can to grow your SP. That needs to be a priority IMO.

If you want to go against my advice on this it's 25 SP delegation to get 1 share. If you remove the delegation you loose the delegation.

You are much better off sponsoring someone which gives you a share in return. For 1 Steem you can have 1 share for yourself and 1 share for someone you choose to sponsor.

This is what we recommend, too. Aim for 500, then think about what programs to support through delegation.

Wasn't sure your thoughts on this, but glad we are in alignment. Think everyone needs to get to that sliderbar ASAP. I leased SP to be able to do it and once I did my engagement levels increased drastically as I could reward comments properly.

I actually did that on my personal account when I first started, too. Then by the time the lease ended I had enough to stay above 500 on my own. Recognizing not everyone has that same experience is part of why I started this program.

I like my increased voting power so even after hitting the 500 I added another 1000. Will likely be adding another 1000 here soon. Will allow me to really help out those that are featured in my contest.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be back when I have more SP then. I'll find someone to sponsor as well. Thanks for the quick reply and keep up the good work. ( I'm assuming you're behind this project)

No I'm not behind the project, just a fan of it. I use SBI for our Pay It Forward Contest and have had multiple questions about it. Now I can link them to my review post to explain it.

If you need someone to sponsor I highly recommend looking at those who interact with you on your posts or someone that has given you good guidance as a thank you. Either are great options to help solidify a relationship...everyone likes a little thank you now and then.

Oh well good on you :) well thanks again !!
