The sad truth is that I am well aware that a good chunk of those "followers" are actually a bot farm that suddenly appeared a month or so back... suddenly got 80+ new "followers" in the span of a few minutes. "Fake news," if you ask me!

Yes it's getting bit messy with all those bots here, hopefully Steemit won't be a place when we have to sift thru bots to find peoples, slowly but surely there raises the need for Johns Connor of Steemit.
