I’ve been slowly working on catching up on the “Seas the Day” instagram art challenge by @myartsybujo on Insta.
These are my creations over the themes of “Captains wheel” and “Ship” ☺️
They are created using Watercolor, Ink Pens, and Gel Pens.
For the first image, I went with a theme and inspiration of a pirates bounty ship. I wanted the ships wheel to look polished but also intimidating. The second image has garnered a lot of feedback that it reminds people of Peter Pan! I was utterly in love with that story as a child, so it makes sense for my eye to have been drawn to that particular style of reference photo as a result.
