RE: Steem Ambassador Applicant Approved: @rismanrachman. Community Approval Required

I really appreciate this discussion. I want to remain neutral here. There is overwhelmingly support on this applicant. I suggest the following way forward:

  1. for now, provide benefit of doubt based on overwhelming support.
  2. monitor closely the actions the candidate takes as a steem ambassador
  3. allow for evidence based discussion as we see how the candidate performs as an ambassador.
  4. the candidate meets all criteria for application
  5. the candidate has agreed to follow the ambassador responsibilities
  6. the candidate will be made aware that this issue has been highlighted and that community is monitoring their progress very closely for compliance with the steem ambassador responsibilities and community guidelines.

I also think so but for now could be this ambassador candidate looking for a good name for imaging in the community.
because in our place Indonesia there is a term the boss never wrong even though he made a mistake, that's what I fear if rismanrahman elected to be ambassador

Yes, of course. But in the absence of any evidence, it's hard to ignore overwhelming support. I totally get that you have a problem with him, and as you know I spent time talking to you in Discord to try to understand what the issue was, and so far I haven't seen anything that would raise any red flags for me. It seems that the issue is that he doesnt vote for everyone. But that would be impossible as he just wouldn't have the voting power, and nor is this a reason to reject anyone. You also said that he only votes for people who have his phone number, but in fact the evidence suggest otherwise, and statistically his voting is extremely diverse AND he doesn't self vote either. So in the absence of any evidence of any abuse, which you are still very welcome to post here, (and which @rismanrachman will have the opportunity to respond to), it's hard to ignore the overwhelming support he has got. It is for the community to decide ultimately, but if you weigh it all up, so far @rismanrachman has an awful lot of support here.
