Many answers springs up in my mind for every individual has their own perspectives of what is best or an ideal Christmas present for their loved ones, But for me the best present is something that is unexpected the essence of surprise is the best feeling to savor especially when that present belongs to someone you love the most. The element of surprise for me is the best when you give a special present, way back during my childhood days I can still remember my Mom gift me my first smartphone an android smartphone and those days kids with smartphone will instantly looks cool I wasn't expecting such thing to happen because that time smartphones was very expensive. And with that the element of surprise associate with a treasured experience for life.
Don't get me wrong.... My kids and family members give me lists and I always try to pick at least two items off the list That are store-bought.But my idea of a perfect gift is it gift from the heart with love whether it's handmade or whether I took the time to make a basket all for example if it were a basket for me it would probably be all about elephants. Also it could be the gift of a memory tickets to an event , concerts or dinner. And I enjoy buying fun gifts that make people happy and I listened all year long to see what they need for example a gym membership or maybe they want to take a class so I think it's cool to give them a practical gift as well because when asked was somebody wants for Christmas all the monetary gifts come up but people forget what they actually said throughout the year that they wanted or needed. no matter what you get for somebody it really is about being from the heart and wanting to make that person happy. One of my favorite presents that I ever received was from my ex-husband our first Christmas together.... We were so poor and we were living in a trailer on the Colusa River and he knew how much I loved baths ....a place to go and escape. He made me a basket With inexpensive bath salts, bath milk ,bubble bath , a couple of my favorite magazines, some cheap candles and some chocolate Hershey Kisses. Less than $20 ... and in my whole life still my favorite to this day...I will never forget it ....the time, effort and the thought to know what would make me happy ...and it did :) :) -Kayleigh

Best Christmas present is a computer. It sounds silly to most people in the first world, but the vastness of internet and the immense amount of knowledge and possibilities on it have the power to shape the world.
Giving access to nearly unlimited knowledge as well as amazing opportunities like the Crypto markets or platforms like Steemit to people who may have never had it before is inspiring. Not only do they get to teach themselves and hopefully others around them, but they also get the chance to change their circumstances and potentially help themselves more than they ever could alone.
I am going to create a steem account for my littlesister as she loves to cook, bake, build stuff and write. She is very creative, so when I am going to go back home for christmas I am going to give her lots of french candy and steem power! She then might be able to do the project she always dreamt of.

For example, I bought my wife an iPad many years ago... and it turned out to be the best gift ever, pretty much for those reasons: It was unexpected, she loved it, and she would never have gotten it for herself. Maybe not even today, where they are a more essential part of life.
In a more specific sense, I have often found that gifts of FOOD and DRINK are greatly appreciated, especially if you know someone's tastes. Maybe that's also a reflection of my age (57) and who our peers are now... we're less into "things" and more into "experiences."

I am amazed to read this article because after reading this article my mind becomes open.
I am aware, I have been too closed with new things and feel already know. It affected me that I became a Sok Tahu This article reminds me to keep digging and keep searching for information and new things.
But I have not understood the substance of the positive thought itself as to what and how to make our minds become positive. Maybe in another article can explain a little bit the meaning of positive thoughts.

One of my memories is when I was about 10 years old, in my country we have a tradition that the child Jesus brings gifts to children (I do not know how he does but because he is a child, haha) always sent us to sleep half an hour before 12 a.m. so that when The adults shouted that the baby Jesus had arrived and up us to open the presents. I always remember my mom's voice screaming, "Baby Jesus is here!" And we all ran to the living room of my grandmother's house to open the gifts and play with them as a family.
