Have you heard of Susan Boyle?
She was a contestant a few years
ago on "Britain's Got Talent".
From that one show, she's since gone
on to earn over $30 million.
Crazy, right?
But here's the thing...
When she first walked out on stage
people were LAUGHING.
(I mean, she doesn't exactly look
like Britney Spears.)
Even Simon Cowell looked as though
he thought her auditioon was just
going to be another 'dying cat'
performance.
Then she opened her mouth and sang.
And everyone in that room shut up.
It's a classic example of the old
"Don't judge a book by it's cover".
Sometimes you need to look beyond
just what you see on the outside
