I keep getting the "please upload a video error before submitting" and I've tried every fix I've read/come across. I even finally just tested on phone as well and am getting the same error regardless of device or account used.
Any help, tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Experienced the same thing before. What I did was, I did not logged in using Steem Connect.
Try logging in using the normal Dtube Log In.

Thanks for your response janetj I've tried that already. I've also tried using different passwords as someone else mentioned and that didn't work either. I'm going to try testing out dimensions of video next to see if that could be the issue.

I've tried Chrome, Firefox, IE on pcs and Brave/Chrome/d.tube app on phone. All with same results.

That's odd. You've tried logging without using Steem Connect and your video format is correct too.
Did you made any video editing?

I've tried with fresh video recorded as is and edited. Are there certain dimension restraints or size limits that you're aware of? Recording from phone so they may as a result be weird dimensions... could that be it do you think?

That's one thing I'm questioning. How would I know if I didn't or did for that matter? Shouldn't that be its own error message?

You may check your SP at steemworld or steemd.
Partly yes. But, insufficient SP may cause such error too since SP needed in almost all our operation.
Try posting again once your SP recharges or power up

That the problem of video format that u are using try differnt formats may it work for you if not comment and i will try a way to fix it

Update: Same video I tried to upload months ago worked fine. No idea why? Not sure if it was Steem Power or RC related? Either way 1080p mp4 video worked no problem for those wondering. Thanks to those who offered suggestions.
