I'd give a fiver to know what witnesses voted for and which ones voted against. wolf seems to be adapting but i can not imagine someone running a servive like that would vote FOR, however what i read makes me think he did ... to his own demise and loss of income then but something somewhere had to be done and personally im still not convinced increasing payout for already big payouts while halving the few thousand who barely make payout will salvage anything at all.
I should add, the one post where the canine overlord states that people who burn at least a steem by the classic promotion service can get a revision on the post and a chance at a smartsteem/realwolf whale-vote is about one of the only good ideas ive seen (adaptive to the current situation , assuming there will be no rollback b/c that's admitting it was wrong lol) BUT ... i also still doubt that will change much, the only ones who need to burn or find means of income ON the chain other than dumping the coin is the biggest dumpers, steemit inc leads as they seem to have no alternative income and it stands to reason the biggest earners are runners-up ..
UltiMatt the Unbeatable however with steemmonsters seems to have been smart enough from the start to sell the cards for dollar or an equivalent in steem value, and blocktrades goes by fees, not steemprice ... i dont know much about the rest, alleycats dont walk in high places
