I have spoken to some of my friends and family about steem and some of have joined but they are not active on here because they say that it is very hard to earn here.
So I have stopped promoting steem to friends and family.

This is a hard place to make it! But it is so worthwhile if you can just stick it out and keep working more creatively at it. Glad it stuck with you at least! Maybe someday your friends will see that and give it a try again.
Me too, I have missed commenting on your post too, I was just trying balance somethings out with myself.
I really hope they give it a try again because job are scarce in my area and we have too many unemployed people around and so steemit can be a place for them to get by.
