RE: Steemit CEO & Co-Founder Ned Scott Just Shared a Bunch of Exciting News About What's to Come

some kind of way to make groups would be a good addition. Posts in other languages than English hardly ever becomes trendy. This is okay for me but it would be nice to find this content more easily. whether some kind of group system will help this?

Now if I try to look for in the "Tags and Topics" box "Finland" or "suomi" I can not find anything... only 5.439 million people in finland. So therefore I do not going to find Finnish-written content ever? Do you understand what is the problem here?

Hi @viljo!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, and I absolutely understand your frustration with finding content in other languages.

I guess there could be two sides to this problem. The first is as you mentioned, the searching or grouping options of such content which is something easily addressable by the Steemit team by making changes to the search, tags, and categories options.

The second which you also mentioned is the lack of such content. This cannot be addressed solely by the Steemit team, and its something that they would need our help with.

By spreading the word on Steemit, not only in our online communities but also our offline communities, we can help increase the user base, which should affect the type of contents that we see, including content in other languages.

The more internationals users that we have, the more diverse content we'll start seeing. My suggestion to anyone reading this is to start spreading Steemit to your online and offline communities.

I hope that my thoughts on this helped you find some answers to your questions.

Thanks again for joining in.

Cheers!
