Another superbly reasoned and well-conceived comment.

And this is why BOB is a thing.

But, I don't think it's a good thing.

Many social interactions are repetitive, and still need to not be automated to have value.

The only value of society is social. A society is much more than an economy, and automating social interactions that are repetitive, as Battery Operated Boyfriends do, debases society.

Bots do the same thing to Steemit as they do to marriage: take all the fun and joy out of it, and turn it into nothing more than an economic dependence.
