Though cow-towing is about what things feel like right now. We are the cow and Sun is the one towing
Kowtowing is an appropriate word considering it's etymology. It refers to the obsequiousness of the Chinese to their overlords. I also note my experience trying to tow the cow, Brownie, may well be prophetic given this exchange.
She broke the rope and I couldn't tow her. I hadda sell her to the neighbor with the field she was in for a new foundation under my house.
