If you say anything nice about haejin, the bernie mob will get you. If you say neutral things, you're treading on thin ice and if you don't do or say anything then you are not doing your part. Yes you have a point but with the hostility involved in this drama there will be backlash. "casualties of war." The best advice I saw for a noob is to stay out of it. I can't say I followed the advice but I've tried to keep my head down and make level headed comments in hopes of not pissing anyone off. It is getting old, I wanted to look the other way as things intensified but regardless of bernie's approach there is a problem. As a newbie myself (here 30 days now) I have a slight "FOMO" feeling with steemit right now because it feels like things are going downhill when I consider what @checkthisout is doing. Some say this is all for the greater good to get the devs and/or larger whales to step up. It's a lot to take in and getting caught up to speed isn't exactly a simple task so I could be wrong. So I've mostly not stayed away because as a newb the future of the platform is important to me.
