Hi guys, just a quick update today.
I've implemented a change that should help making @tipU voting service available for a longer time each day.
Previously @tipU would just use it's daily voting power and than go to sleep which sometimes meant that a lot of people got refunds because @tipU was out of juice.
I've implemented a small change where the less voting power @tipU has, the smaller max upvote it can make. Of course the ROI is still between +10% and +20% but @tipU can now use smaller part of your payment and refund the rest in order to make a smaller upvote.
You promise a minimum 10% profit, but deliver less.
A few hours ago I bid 2 sbd on my comment and got a 3.12 worth vote:
With 1.22$ sbd price, which was 1.24 before I took a shot of my screen:
and your 25% curation on the post, I got less than 10% despite your 0.076 sbd refund:
3.120.75=2.34 my share of the vote.
1.17$ in steem and 1.17 sbd worth 1.4274$.
It sums to a 2.5974 $.
I bid 2 sbd, got refunded 0.076 sbd.
My net bid is 2-0.076=1.924sbd
multiply it by sbd price, my net bid is 1.9241.22=2.34728 $
computers savvy people can verify the time when my screenshots were taken and see that the injustice was immediate and not retroactive.

Why deliver below your advertised minimal ROI on a post older than 30 minutes with you being the sole curator on it?
I was aware of your post about giving a smaller vote when voted within the 0-30 minutes period, but why deliver below minimal return outside of it?
And to my bad luck, I caught the screen when sbd traded at 1.22$ instead of real time when it was 1.24$ and I forgot to capture it then, or I did, but overrode it in the OS' memory with something else.
I wanted a boost in reputation, so I sought to get a bigger vote with a larger portion of the vote's reward going to you.
More reputation for my money.
Instead, I got a vote just below the promised minimal return, and you still got the larger share of it.

$2.59 = $2.34 * 110%
(Your share = your payment * 110%)
Or 110% = 2.59 / 2.34
Bam, you got 10% more than what you paid. I can't see the problem. The ROI is as advertised.

Good idea. I've tried to use you a bunch of times, but I can see in the wallet that is has almost always just refunded someone and needs to wait many hours before it can accept another upvote request. It is almost as if people have to win a luck lottery to get the vote in. Nonetheless, I've seen your APR stats for delegation rewards, so the system must work, but it wouldn't keep a loyal crowd coming back if they keep checking in, and can't get in.
