As many of you have heard, we are organizing an Invest in Steem Social Media Blast Day. The goal of this event is to coordinate a massive social media "blast", where everbody starts talking about how amazing Steem is - all at once. We want to generate as much "buzz" about Steem across the internet that investors can't ignore it.
Our (ambitious) goal is that as a result of this social media blast day, we push into the top 20.
THE BLAST EVENT IS TOMORROW!!
The blast will start tomorrow - Monday September 3, 2018, at 11:00 am Eastern time (UTC-4). It will last for 24 hours. So everybody get ready to start talking about Steem!
What to expect tomorrow:
- Tomorrow AM before the event, I will be posting an article that talks about the Steem blockchain and STEEM cryptocurrency. Everyone who is promoting Steem will have the option to send people to this article for more information.
- Tomorrow AM before the event, I will be posting an article with instructions and guidelines for everyone who is participating. This will include graphics that can be used, "pre-canned" text that can be used for tweets, etc., and suggestions on where to promote Steem.
- At 11:00 am Eastern time, the event begins!

I am obviously a big advocate of Steemit and the blockchain, and I encourage these type of initiative,there's a war on the information at play, I hope, that no censorship has been put in place, as we all know that some of those social medias have no interest seeing us succeed! The STEEM looks good today though :)

I've seen some of the promo artwork and graphics in another post and have to say that whoever designed them gets 100%
They really convey a powerful message in terms of what the blockchain as a whole can offer especially compared to some of the existing top coins. I hope it's a success by any measurement and will be joining in tomorrow. Best of luck with it.

Start buying Steem. You can expect the price to go up tomorrow :) Make sure to Resteem this post. We got to make sure everybody on the platform knows about SteemBlast!
Do you really believe such events will have some effect on price?
A well coordinated event could push the price up a few cents over 24 hours! A slight rise can boost investor confidence, causing Steem to rise over the next few days. Steem is undervalued, so I would buy some Steem before tomorrow. I could see Steem at 1.10 or 1.15 by the end of the week.
What you should do, and what everybody else should do is Resteem this post. Whether you buy Steem or not, we're all invested in this platform, so promoting it all over the internet is a good idea. You got nothing to loose by mentioning Steem to other people.

As of today, I havent really felt in my social media feeds, the cammpaign, why?
Depends on who you follow and interact with
Freedom and decentralization... are the most important words! And to be true they were stamped in my image of the Chain when I tried to figure out for what this Ecosystem was made.
Must say that even nowadays I'm recommending at 101% your Steem 101 YT video for everyone that wants to spread the word.
Being aware of the chance that humankind has with a decentralized ecosystem like Steem is easy, clear, and true. And is the way that the system must be considered, and when you truly understand that, it becomes in the real fuel to keep making things in the Blockchain!
Seen that you are thinking the same and you continue opening minds with that way of seeing Steem as a key for Freedom is what encouraged me moons ago in some way to keep on the Blockchain and aware people about using this as a key for be free and get away from the system.

The holiday was a small part of it. It basically boiled down to the earliest that we could make it happen with all the planning that was involved. The holiday + beginning of the week also seemed like a good time to be trying to get 'buzz' going.

It can't just be one day. We should do wide-scale promotion at least once a month. It's in everyone's interest to spread awareness about Steem.
I think the Steem community should host a video contest. Lets make the top prize at least 200 Steem. It sounds ambitious, but If we created a donation pool, we could collectively host a few high-stakes contest.
Get people to make youtube videos, explaining how Steem works to investors.

A viral youtube video of a million views could make some difference. Let create a competition, to bring out the best in peoples creativity. We also, and I keep on explaining this, need to come up with a Steem market. We should do something like Ebay, but offer discounts when people make purchases with Steem.
We need to merge social media with the marketplace! If they did that, I could see Steem at $10, $20, or maybe $50. Instead of relying on Investors to boost the price of Steem, lets create a marketplace that generates value within itself! Come on think people. If we did that, we would all see an amazing ROI!

Tweeted your steemit post. I brought 20 or so content creators here in the last year and all are gone now. I find this a very hard place to promote with such dismal results.
It’s still pretty rough for content creators. I think we will need communities and SMTs before we reach a point where it will be reasonable for new members to establish themselves.
