Speaking of dapps, I don't know if you've noticed it already, but projects are generally announced differently here than anywhere else in the crypto world. They're usually announced with some kind of working product. No empty promises talking about what they're going to do in the future if they get funding. Here it's like "Here's our dapp you can start using, hope you enjoy, if you like it there's a delegation program for investors." I just love that mentality.

Someone resteemed this, glad they did! it holds true today, after that dip today of -$1000 on BTC. After I finish listening to this video, I'll check and see if you posted recently. Exyle also talks a lot about the future of steem and is always talking about the dApps. Exciting stuff man. I don't feel nervous or worried at all about the state of the market. I'm currently using a proxy for my witness voting, I should turn that off. I'll check out @timcliff .

True! The Steem blockchain provides everything, and building a healthy and steadfast ecosystem takes time.
Whenever we search for quick success, our mind lacks the power, patience and trust for maintaining this success in the long haul, which means that we might experience some incredible financial windfall, but most probably we will lose it as rapidly as it came.
Once we truly grasp that and move our mind from short-term to long-term, we won't see temporary lows as setbacks but as some necessary adjustments enabling the stabilization of the long-term success combined with the natural selective pyramidal shifts taking place in the "setback's" wake whereby those with more patience and trust (+ the according actions) will climb upward the echelon while those with less will fall downward the echelon.
In my mind I clearly feel and see how one day "Steem on" will be the trending phrase the masses will use. Accessing this vision feels much easier and much more palpable than with any other cryptocurrency, personally.

Thanks for spotlighting all the good work @timcliff is doing for steemit. There is so much information out here, and so many facets to this crazy new world, that it's hard to know who to support. I'm casting my witness vote for Tim now. I bought some Steem back in December (yes at $3.17!) because I liked the look of the project. It's only been recently that I brought my Steem here and starting interacting. Just a planketon but learning from people every day. Information like this is invaluable to us newbies!

I've been trying to diversify my crypto. What are your thoughts on doge?
It occurred to me too that the creation of Destiny along with SMT's will continue to push steem forward. I've heard people worried about steemit falling by the wayside but the truth is that as steem grows it will pull steemit with it.
I was driving today and watched the SteemFest 3 livestream and was excited to hear everyone talking about the potential that DApps being created here will have to not only Steem but to blockchain in general! As development continues and these network effects continue to be distributed value will continue to be created in the ecosystem. Those with robust adoption and retention efforts will fair the best and outperform most. I think that in the long run only 20% of these blockchains will succeed and drive the market and believe that Steem will be in the Top 10 given the ecosystem it is building on its own!
Great advice about the market for everyone. To me, Steem is long term. I got to steem in an odd and very different way than most.
Once I realized I could earn 'coins' that were based on the market I promptly stopped thinking about it knowing it was long term.
@TimCliff is a great Witness and always will take time out to answer questions no matter how big or small. He is a shining example of how great Steamian are.

The Steem Blockchain really does have everything anyone needs to share their content - and with the @dstors concept it's no longer just limited to digital creation soon physical goods can be bought and sold with Steem.

I am from argentina Buenos Aires. Here we think that we are pioneers in South America in technology with about the cripto world and the cripto comunity we are pretty far away from the point. My friends and family look at me as a crazy and nerd idiot when I speak about steemit, eth, btc hard forks and more. But anyway I continue here In this new flow as you because i know that this is really the first 1 minute of the cripto world. I will continue trying to spread steemit and all their dapps with my people and continue being the crazy cripto nerd who is also a lotr fans. Maybe in future they give me the reason buy i wont care about that.

even once the greatest heirloom seeds are planted in the most fertile of soil, we still are not able to see that the seed even exists under the surface. It is not until they finally burst through and show every bit of their exuberance that the world truly is able to understand all of the plants glory.

@theycallmedan, Yes, only a matter of time when we put the collective efforts in this Economy. And yes, every Individual is powerful and they can come up with their innovative ideas and actions and they can contribute to this Economy. And current price and Potential of particular project is really different aspects so in my opinion at this moment the price of Steem is not to the mark but the potential is far more high and in coming years we will going to experience it.

People were bullish every week, every month in last year in cryptoworld. And nothing happened. But I totally agree when you say that prices have been beaten down, specially with bitcoin, trading in central bank - and from that day on, you could say that price of bitcoin is not real anymore. And most cryptocurrencies are dependent from bitcoin or/and US dollar.
@theycallmedan well said! liquid when you have that 1million liquid and buy low when most are underwater/ market fearful. you definitely put money where you mouth is ! that show the tremendous amount of confidence you have on this.

well said steemit as the soil providing the seeds(dapps) that grow and nuture. Some might die off but the top 10% will flourish and bring so much values to ppl (the fruits)
PS : i noticed you haven't post on instagram for awhile @theycallmethankfuldan , perhaps you can check out this share2steem new dapp to easily autopost instagram posts to steemit blockchain.
maybe share2steem can become the One like you said ! or at least onboard more users outside of steemit to promote steem and awareness.
btw the commercial that you're working on can have very good synergy to showcase how easy it is to use and earn on steemit using share2steem dapp especially running insta/fb ads, existing users can just transit easily click ads and start using(since they already posting on their favourite social media anyway). Showing many others out there the possibilities ! Like @grantcardone mentioned " see the possibilities ! do the maths" How to onboard 1 million users outside steeemit or promote awareness ?

Once these new users see the possibilities, they surely somehow directly/indirectly start to explore other dapps the specialise niche be more active on those dapps - being consistent(consistency) and actively using(users)
