STEEM Is Leading The Way Into The Age Of Abundance: Steemians Should Take Advantage

in #steem7 years ago

Cryptocurrency is going to change the world and uplift humanity. This is all part of a progression that is taking place on many levels which that will end the slavery and tyranny we see around the world. While this is not an overnight process, people who are awakened to this fact are able to take advantage of the opportunity.

Anyone who talked to another about cryptocurrency was most likely met with resistance. People buy into the FUD choosing to believe the message passed around by those who are enslaving them. The world we live in is primal, harsh, and unnatural. Yet it is a phase the world needed to go through.

Part of my realization that the Age of Abundance is upon us is through the study of different philosophies or disciplines that discuss this. The Mayans are the most well known. These were the original astronomers who were guided by the stars. They knew things about our galaxy that we are only now discovering

The same is true of the Yugas. Those ages come from the Vedic tradition which talks about the ascension and descension of humanity.

What we are really referring to here is cycles. Just like there are seasons of the year which are predictable based upon the calendar, so too are longer time periods. For those living in the northern areas, you know that if the calendar says December, it is unlikely that you will have 85 degree weather. While it could happen, that would be out of the ordinary.

The ancient traditions realized the same thing happens over thousands of years. Of course, they didn't have a calendar to go by, hence they charted the skies.

One of the things that most of the traditions discuss is that humanity is on the ascent. The people who study these ideas debate the exact dates when we transition although that really does not matter. Even though the calendar says we move from one season to the next, the weather still have characteristics of the previous one. It is not uncommon for a cold front to come through even though we transitioned into Spring. Looking out the window at the snow, one would not be able to tell.

This is exactly what we are experiencing. We are at the beginning stages of the new Era that is upon us. Some will even claim that we are still ending the previous one. Regardless of where we are exactly, since this transition will be unfolding over the next few hundred years, pinpointing dates is rather useless. What is important is the characteristics of the "season" we are entering and people's reaction to it.

Basically, using the Winter/Spring analogy, the calendar passed March 21st, yet most are claiming it is still Winter because there is snow on the ground. Tell them it is Spring and they argue with you. They do not realize that next week a warm front will melt the snow kicking off the Spring growing season.

When I talk about the Age of Abundance, many still see the snow. They are stuck in the Age of Scarcity we operated under for the last few thousand years. Failure to understand the characteristics of the new Era is leading one to believe this is the same as it always was.

One of the main points of the uplifting of humanity is technology. While this does not seem to apply to ascension, it is a very important aspect. Without technology, we are easy to control. Consciousness is around us yet we are unaware of it. Since most of us lack the ability to tap into these messages, technology helps a great deal.

We know the last 100 years saw exponential growth in our technological abilities. Compared to the 100 years before that, we are moving at light-speed. The same will be true 100 years from now. They will look at the period we just went through believing us rather archaic.

The biggest innovation was the creating of the Internet. I have seen it termed "digital consciousness". This enables us to tap into the world's knowledge base. No longer are we at the mercy of those who want to espouse their message. The Internet enables anyone to present their views. We know there are forces that look to silence this medium and even had a degree of success. However, the messages are spreading helping people to wake up.

Communication is a wonderful thing. Yet it carries little impact in one's life if that person is starving. The fact the monetary system is still in the hands of the few means that, in spite of new beliefs arising, people can do little about them. That was until someone(s) wrote a white paper sharing an idea for a new monetary system.

This was a major turning point for humanity yet most of us did not even realize it. Years later, the majority of the world is still unaware of what a gift to the world Bitcoin is. The innovation from that single development is in the process of creating an industry that will free mankind from the chains of the elite.

Those who are on STEEM are early adopters. In fact, anyone involved in cryptocurrency falls into that category. If I had to guess, there are still most likely under 100 million crypto wallets in the world. This means only a sliver of the population was even exposed to this revolutionary idea. We know the FUD attacks put out by those in charge was fierce. Why did they do that? I venture to say they see the same thing I do. Unfortunately for them, while I believe this is good for humanity, they know it is bad for them.

The behavior we see among people, even on STEEM, shows they believe we are in the last season. It is akin to someone pulling out more Winter clothing on April 1. Yes it might be cold out but Spring is here. The person does not believe you.

On this level, tell someone the Age of Abundance is here and they still are fearful. The old belief system is in play. They are jealous of anyone who has more because that traditionally means they have less. Of course, greed is a big factor in all this at every level. Those with a lot need more while those who do not, they crave more. This leads to attacks, vile name calling, and bullying. It also leads to complaining.

Few are grateful for whatever is in their accounts and the synchronistic events that led to one being on STEEM at this time. It is easy to fall into the trap of "I wish I got here a year earlier". Naturally, there is also the possibility that one could have gotten here a year from now. Nevertheless, while one is wishing, complaining, and attacking, he or she is not taking advantage of the opportunity right now.

We see this with so many inactive accounts. Hundreds of thousands of people could be filling their accounts with some STEEM each day yet they are doing nothing. Many came to the site and left. They did not realize this was something different. I am sure there are many reasons for one not staying. Regardless of the reason, the fact they did not see the opportunity before them is going to haunt them. Even if they come back a year from now, it will be harder to earn STEEM.

And that is the point everyone needs to understand.

As more people join this ecosystem, the amount of STEEM in the reward pool gets diluted. That means it is harder to earn the same amount of STEEM. This will be offset by the idea that as STEEM gets "scarcer", the price should increase. The STEEM ecosystem further enhances this with the Steem Power concept which locks up STEEM, reducing the amount on the open market.

STEEM is far from perfect. There are problems. However, STEEM, as cryptocurrency is in general, is the opportunity of a lifetime. The only question is do you realize it or not? Those who want to behave like we are in the last season and nothing is changing, well your accounts will reflect that.

One of the main reasons I am so optimistic about STEEM is because people are making money. In my 8+ months on here, not only has my account grown, yet I see the accounts of others growing too. These are people who are consistent in their efforts. They are on here each day posting, commenting, and upvoting. They do this regardless of the price of STEEM. In spite of the flaws with Steemit, they keep persisting. And their accounts grow.

Another wonderful thing happened. since I joined. The price of STEEM, back then, floated between $1.30 and $.80. Now it is 3-4 times that. Hence, whatever SP one has in the account is now worth more than it was before. My view, this trend will continue. Those who has SP in their account today, whatever the amount, it will be worth a great deal more a year from now.

I came across a number of people who got frustrated with some aspect Steemit and left only to come back 6 or 9 months later. Each of them had the same story. They regretted it from the standpoint that is lost time. They grasp the fact it was easier to earn STEEM 9 months ago. What they also understand is that it will be harder to earn STEEM 9 months from now.

Time is something none of us can recoup. Therefore, the opportunity is before us. STEEM is a compounding system. Each action builds upon what went before it. As the ecosystem grows, the value moves up also. The only way to maximize one's standing down the road is to add whatever he or she can now. Those who watch the price of STEEM and stop posting when the price goes down are paying a price. That is time that cannot be recouped.

Warren Buffet, Bitcoin's biggest detractor, talks about the power of compound interest. He realized a long time ago that growth at a consistent rate over long periods of time adds up.

STEEM is the epitome of this. There are so many ways for an account to grow. The only requirement is to be active on a consistent basis. Sure it takes effort and dedication. Yet the rewards will be there over time.

The problem people have is their belief system. Many reading this will not believe it. That is fine. Many of those same type people did not believe what I wrote back in the fall when STEEM was at 80 cents either. Nor will they believe what I write when STEEM is $12.

One of the characteristics of the new Era is moving away from belief to knowledge. When one is sitting there with the Winter wardrobe at the beginning of April because the belief of Winter based upon snow on the ground, that person is apt to be way off. Contrast that with the person who looks at the calendar knowing that it is only a few weeks away from warming.

I have enough of a technological background and studied these trends over the past decade to have a knowing about what is happening. From this perspective, it is easy to see where we are headed over the next 5-10 years (within certain parameters). Blockchain is one of the core components of what is going to take place. Because of this, cryptocurrency is equally as important.

For this reason, I am very grateful to be part of this industry at this time. I know a couple years of dedicated effort is going to pay off enormously.

The question is do you?

Man oh man that was in hell of a article 👍👍.
We could probably debate a few items, but from the looks of you would crush me lol

You see he’s just a great mentor, leader, analyzer and a great educator. You’re both smart people and evenly matched. One would only learn more from your discussions @crypto2crypto and @taskmaster

It would be fun for sure. I’ll take a kneel on this one. 😛

Thanks for the comment @crypto2crypto.

It isnt about crushing or bettering anyone. We are all in the together. As Steemians and crypto hodlers that puts us in the crosshairs of the elite. They want to take us down since we are a threat to their way of life. We left the reservation, at least partially, and they do not like it. That damn cryptocurrency is causing nightmares for them.

We all learn from each other. Over time, we grow and evolve.

More is continually revealed to all of us, from all kinds of sources.

Thanks again for reading and commenting.

I guess the better term would have been given me a run for my money. I always love a good friendly debate. As it highlights the good and bad and allows for deeper learning.

Cryptocurrency is going to change the world and uplift humanity. And I’m so glad we’re all early participations

I was a latecomer to cryto but Steem finally made sense to me since you could actually do something with it besides trade it.

I love when you write about crypto and awakening and the Age of Abundance. My lineage says we're entering the Second Tier of Consciousness.

I, too, deeply honor the people in the crypto world. That's why I'm sharing so much here about consciousness and energy - so that every individual here can be their very fucking tippity-top best. I want everybody here to be able to make an impact.

Cryptocurrency is going to change the world and uplift humanity

I try to let anyone I’m telling about crypto know that it’s the future, yes it is and it a freedom we’ve all longed for. The financial freedom.

Steem particularly is what I could describe as an epitome of wealth to arrive. The good news is , this predictions are coming from you an individual with technological background and had studied this trend for decades. You’re well experienced and this is one of the quality of a good leader. Thanks for some insights brought to light

Good stuff @taskmaster4450! Really appreciate your positivity. Love join in on these waves! This is great opportunity! A wonderful new way is dawning 🎶🙌🌹

Incredible post, can you elaborate on:

As more people join this ecosystem, the amount of STEEM in the reward pool gets diluted. That means it is harder to earn the same amount of STEEM. Why???

I hadn’t seen your question, but I think my comment just after yours in this thread answers it.

Are you staying demand will increase, but supply will remain the same??? Do you know anything about over time something will happen to the inflation of the value of Steem?

Supply won’t remain the same, just increase at a slower rate than demand for it. Steem’s inflation rate is currently just over 8.89% per year and falling. As currently designed, the inflation rate drops by 0.5% per year.

So is there a finite amount of steem or does it the blockchain keep making more. How does the inflation rate help or not help the price of steem?

You response are much appreciated because I really trying to understand the ins and out of things.

Currently, something like 65,000 Steem are created every day. Specifically, new Steem is created every 3 seconds as a block is added to the blockchain.

The inflation rate helps the price of Steem in that its growth rate is significantly lower than the rate of growth in the demand for Steem, currently because the number of accounts is growing at a much higher rate. If Smart Media tokens are successfully launched and prove to be popular, demand for Steem could increase dramatically.

Edited to add this: I just checked. Currently, every three seconds, 2.26 Steem are being created (65,088 per day).

As more people join this ecosystem, the amount of STEEM in the reward pool gets diluted. That means it is harder to earn the same amount of STEEM. This will be offset by the idea that as STEEM gets "scarcer", the price should increase.

This might well be a more pronounced effect than many realize. The amount of Steem being added to the ecosystem is less than 9% per year. Signups are a bit harder to measure since the manual system varies so much from day to day but I did some rough calculations that estimated the creation of new accounts here at ballparkish 10-11% per month.

I would say those numbers, rough or not, give a good indication. Even if your numbers are off a few percent, the fact that you are looking at 120%-130%+ growth per year in users while the token inflates at 9%, that means there is a lot of dilution.

Just amazing!! This is one of the best article i have read in recent times. In the beginning, it felt kinda boring. After sometime, i can't stop the reading unless, it has finished. Thanks mate, for the article.
In my opinion, world is changing day by day. The move from the fiat money was obvious. Today or tomorrow. Crypto is most lucrative alternative fir this evolution. We can say it, without digging too much.
About steemit, I am still minnow here. I am obviously regretting, why i did not learn about it earlier. But, I still beleive there is opportunity here. And I beleive it very farmly. So, become a consistent here will give us something. We do not have to lose anything here, except time. i am enjoying here my stay. I am using it as alternative of facebook. I also beleive, one day it will be the biggest rival of renowned social sites of today. So, i want to be part it.😊😊

A huge opportunity here in my opinion. As time passes and more people find this blockchain, we will see it pan out exactly that way. We are slow on sign ups at the moment since it is still manual and, just a guess, it looks like they are going to release a great deal at the same time. This means we will have a massive explosion one day.

Hope, I will be on a safe zone, before that explosion.I mean a good position in here. LOL

If you are on here now, I believe you are in the safe zone...The explosion has not hit yet.

I am not ready yet, i wanna be a whale before the explosion. May the God will bless me as a whale.😊😊😆

I often find myself saying, "I wish I was here a year earlier". Yet, I do recognize that there is still plenty to be taken advantage of. I made a commitment to be as active as possible on the site awhile ago and it went really well until a series of things just threw me off. My computer screen broke, I was too broke to fix it; I guess that was the big one.

But, when I finally fixed it, and was so excited mainly to be able to get back on Steemit; I didn't. And I don't really know why. Every day it was a like "do it tomorrow" type situation that never played out. I think I was a little intimidated by it; my last post got a fair amount of attention and I've been nervous to create something shitty.

Coincidentally, right after I got my shit together and got back on the site, I came across your article, and it just encouraged me more. So thank you for that.

I can't convince any of my friends to invest time into blockchain systems like Steem. I have a few friends who hold crypto but they don't really know anything about it and just kind of bought random coins that friends would tell them to. The rest of my friends are just completely uninterested and meet my crypto conversations with a smirk; like, "oh yeah? how's that going?" and every single time, "do you know anyone who's actually used the money? it's a scam, man" followed with a surprised but unimpressed reaction to the answer. It's really sad because a lot of my friends create a lot, whatever the medium might be, and are mostly very broke; so these systems are ideal platforms. But it seems impossible to overcome the FUD to most of these people.

Looking back 6 months, I was somewhat guilty of the same thing. I was interested in crypto, but I didn't know a thing about it and figured it was something you had to invest a lot of money in that would possibly collapse. I remember telling the friend that introduced me to crypto, beforehand, to take out a good chunk of his money from it in case things didn't work out. Now, I have a totally different opinion on it.

Sorry for the rant. Anyways, great article; glad to be back so I can read more of what you have to say!

The main problem i see with STEEM and this article shows this very well, is the money incentives in every aspect of the platform.

There is no room for people who just like to share and connect with others without having to be reminded about the $ sign on every post, video or comment.

As much as i hate Fakebook, one of the positive things i can say about it is, that most people who are using it are there to share and connect, not to get as much money out of each interaction as possible.

Don't get me wrong, i don't mind people earning money for their work, time or content... But the constant money incentives wont lead to mass adoption.

Some people may have stopped being active here cos they didn't see a $500 sign on their 10th post, but some may have left cos all they saw, where people promoting STEEM as it was a pyramid scheme.

Even if you do not care about the profits, if you don't join the buy-sell-my-vote bots, no one will see your post and therefore there is no point staying on this platform. I think the platform need both, people who only care for money and people who dont, as it is right now it only attracts the first group.

And this constant appeal to earn money and promise to get rich if you join early, i think it will turn many people off.

Think how much time you spent writing this post to persuade people only to care about profits, so they too can start writing more articles about profits.

Reminds me about these early bloggers, making money by writing how to make money online, what a waste of human potential.

Thanks for inform us

Yes, i am ready to dedicate and that's why i read the posts of professionals and experienced personnel who share qualitative data which inturn can give positive vibes because there are many who write to create the doubts. And you advised about the cycles as per vedic calenders and ancient people analysis through the sky reading, and yes, every aspect is reading and understanding no matter in which field you are, so the Crypto is nothing different, it's an great opportunity to become financially free but we have to analyse and plan for the things because if our strategy is strong backed with planning and analysis then that's great, and then you should not fear of any speculations because speculations are misleading and can create panic state. I am full time Steemian and i believe on this platform, in Crypto and overall Blockchain Technology and i know the journey required hard work and dedication and i am ready for it. Thanks for sharing and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂

The decision is important, because the change starts from an decision and action.
-Own Opinionated Thoughts

This is obviously written by a well-informed person. Great read!

Once again a very informative post that makes me more excited about the potential of Steem and Steemit.
Stay the course folks!

There is one problem with steemit. For the ecosystem to work there have to be consumers and creators. The problem is that those who should consume and reward what they like, continue to create for the sake of creating and reaping the benefits. Reading this content you can feel how bored they became, there is no heart in it.

steem is powerful

I’m one of those people who joined Steemit, then didn’t do much the first year I was on here. Since then, I pretty well post and comment every day, and quite frankly, I have more fun here than on Facebook, anyway, because people are more passionate here.

Regardless, being consistent is always a good formula for success in life. It won’t be any different here on Steemit.

Thank you for writing this article. We must realise the several truths that are inside it.

Great post and yes I believe crypto will eradicate poverty eventually and I think the next 5 years will be super exciting.😀
