You are right, generally speaking, women are less risk-seeking than men. It has affects on investments and, length of life.

I would see those things as investments, too. The better your relationship with her is now, the better chances you have to be able to relate to her when she's older.

I am hoping that in the future I am patient enough and wise enough to learn all the new things from her.

I always tell young guys they shouldn't get seriously involved with women before they are established. For a man trying to achieve success a woman in his life can be such a drag. It takes a lot of time, energy and appetite for risk to be able to succeed in life. When you're struggling it does not help if you have a girlfriend or a wife complaining about never having time for them, or no money to get them the things they want, telling you to cash out, not to take any risks or telling you they won't relocate because of the exceptional job offer you had in another locality. Besides, if your success is your schtick and not your great looks or supremely cool personality, you'll be in much more demand after you've made it with the added benefit of it being put into clear focus what women are really after from you. Also, those other things tend not to last as a man ages but money and status never get old.
