It would be a fantastic opportunity for head hunting I agree but how many people are bullshitting and being true to themselves.
It is the same everywhere. No company/person would only use social media as the indicator but it could be used as a supplement. Imagine hiring for some position that requires interaction or team building and finding that here they were unable/unwilling to engage well. Would you hire them?
In the last few years I have noticed more and more delegating from management and they actually don't know what work is any more
I see the same thing among older managers but a move back to responsibility from most of the younger ones I work with. They are getting hands on again as they seem to realise/feel that without real skills and connection to the work, their position is tenuous at best.
