True but hard work wont make you money here. You can make a great article and nobody will upvote you. The only way to make money is to make articles that the high rollers want to see whatever that might be.

The article makes no money at all for you as a post on Facebook or on a blog you pay to run. When you do it on Steem you might at least get 5 or 10 cents. Money does keep coming in for good articles over time so you do get residuals but the problem is it's in the pennies because there just aren't enough curators for that yet. The answer is more curators are needed and a higher market cap for Steem too. I did ask Dan about it and he answered that it's a balancing act so Steem is not going to be perfect. Content producers will have to make money on more than just their Steem posts.
