Steem is simply unstoppable! It isn´t just one of the fastest and most used Blockchains out there but as well one of the most traded tokens these days. According to the data on coinmarketcap steem is among the Top 20 Coins in Volume.
While Trading around $4.5 USD at the time of this post, steem got a daily volume of almost $70 Million USD or almost 7500 Bitcoin. In my opinion that´s an amazing number and definitely shows that the rise of steem is imminent and we´ll see it among the Top 10 coins sooner rather than later.
While the most volume on steem is still traded in Korea it´s definitely worth to mention that Binance just recently added steem to its trading portfolio and therefore brought another $1.5 Million USD of daily volume.

Steem’s advantage hasn’t always been that via social media, they are in the best position to first take crypto mainstream and these numbers show the beginning of that.
While it is going to take a long time to integrate crypto into daily retail payment processes, the monetisation of online content is here and Steem gives control back to the people.
Just wait until Smart Media Tokens are properly launched and you see a few bigger blogs and media organisations (thinking unprofitable newspapers with nothing to lose) pick them up. Shit is going to get real, fast!

Just look at Fb's mcap more than 500 B , we know Steemit is better than Fb and it's mcap is only around 1.5B . Imagine how much steemit platform will grow ! We are the best rated crypto right now with B + . Fb is waste of time , we got everything here on steemit . News , gags (dmania ) , dtube , steemchat . Fb already lost a million users , i hope they will land here .
Since I mostly use coincodex instead of CMC as a source and I´m seeing extremely low volumes on STEEM there, I just checked again. On coincodex, STEEM is only ranked 75 with a tiny 6.7M trade volume and I just found out, that the reason for this is, that they don´t use the Korean data for their price calculation (Upbit is missing there). So I´m wondering, what this means for us.
I know, that in Korea every coin is more expensive and there are bigger trade volumes, but is it really a good thing, that most of our STEEM value is derived by Korea and one single Exchange holds such a big percentage of our volume compared to the rest?
With every new Steemian there is more Steem moving around. Steem offers substance while many other Cryptos do not. The transactions are very quick and free. You can earn crypto with simple human interaction. This very comment I am writing could earn me $1 or $10 or $100, it's chance. But for me it's not really about money it's about socialising with other people and finding cool infos, fotos etc. I'm having a good time here and on Dtube.

quality is everything. We all have good and bad days, and have to work with where we are at. I try to make time to find new people who are doing the right thing and say hello. It is time consuming, but it I am also looking after my own STEEM investment so it is totally worth it. see you out there!

There are a lot of people on steemit that are just begging and asking you to follow etc. without really putting any efforts in at all. I strongly believe in steem and its great future but unfortunately we probably never will get rid of the ones looking for some quick money on here without even trying to understand the underlying system.

You are right about beggars and bots. But this is part of the internet. The worst one's are the profile hijackers and the crypto thieves who use and abuse noobs and other net users as they are out to do real damage. We should not forget the whales who abuse people as well.
