It´s the last day of an amazing year 2017 and I think it´s time to celebrate that together. We´ve seen a lot of good days on the crypto market and especially huge developments on the Steem Blockchain along with a massively growing userbase, which will allow us a strong start into 2018, the year of cryptos!
For me personally and probably many of you as well it was mainly steem that made my journey as great as it is and kept me motivated along the way to engage myself with different topics on the blockchain in general as well as cryptocurrencies on a daily basis. We got an amazing Community on here and tht being said I want to thank every single one of you for being awesome!
Looking back I think I didn´t do bad at all but that there´s still a lot of space to improve my activities on the platform and my efforts to promote it to the people out there. So here are some numbers from my account to reflect on from 2017 as well as my goals for the next year. It´s definitely not going to be easy to achieve it alongside a full time job but I´ll give my best to get there 😉

Why I Think Steem Is Going To Exceed All Expectations in 2018!
We are still in the early days of the Steem adoption and will potentially experience a huge increase in price and usage whenever the SMT´s finally go live and will bring a lot of new users on our beloved Blockchain. Great things might be just around the corner, e.g. due to the launch of VICE.
Of course there will be ups and downs once again but in the end I´m convinced that Steem will exceed all our expectations and dreams in 2018. The media just started to cover cryptocurrency topics lately and will eventually soon talk about a new innovative social media as well leading to a massive run from the old platforms to the different front ends of Steem.
I´ll Continue My Mission To Upvote Quality Comments!
Yes, I won´t stop to upvote any quality comments I stumble upon on the Steem Blockchain as in my opinion a social network depends on real interaction and that this should be rewarded more after all.
Therefore, as announced on the cover Picture, I want to celebrate the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 with you by granting a celebration upvote on any quality comment on this Post. Love your work @steembusiness. I actually think you're targeting exactly the right area by looking to increase your comment activity. I've been doing the same in the last weeks and have found that my posting has been almost secondary to the activity and engagement that comments bring.
I agree that we will see ups and downs in 2018. The crypto markets are falling at the moment so we are in unchartered waters in that regard. There will be "smiles and cries" to quote Training Day.
I look forward to our mutual success in this platform next year and wish prosperity for the whole steemit community. 👍

It has been quite an amazing year for crypto. Started the year under $20 billion in total market cap and finishing just under $600 billion. I can't wait to see what 2018 has in store.
I really like the future of steem, even with a lot of controversy lately, it shows that people are very passionate about this project and even though we might not all agree on the best course of action, we all want Steem to succeed. Happy new year and all the best in 2018
@steembusiness I like the fact that you have Goals for 2018 and you expect to increase year over year. That tells me you will take STEEMIT Very Seriously and those that engage with you in the comment section in meaningful ways will also benefit from your engagement. As far as what you might do to improve your BLOG just keep providing great CRYPTO content and if you are out and about take some Wonderful Pictures of places you visit and share those with the Community.................... @jasonshick Thank You for your support too..................

I´m really planning to put in some more personal things into my blog along with crypto content as well but am just a little shy over it after all. It´s the first social media I´m really active on :D
2017 definitely has been an amazing year for cryptos but was after all just the beginning as it´s still not easy for the mass to jump in. As soon as that changes and everything gets more easily accessible we´ll see even better things happening and I´m convinced that it will be the case in 2018 :)

Although I have yet to cash out (because I still don't know how) or get to the 'big money' for posts, I can see that Steemit definitely has potential if I can stick with it. I have every intention of sticking with it and, for the new year, I will be trying to improve it the best I can.
Steem is here to stay and it will just grow further every single day. We´ll see new users arriving and many who´ll give up as well. But those sticking with it will be rewarded in the end. Don´t look at your earnings today but what it could be worth in the future :)
With the opportunities that Steem has to offer, a value based services in comparison to other cryptocurrency coins in the market, 2018 would be a year for growth. Thank you for 2017 @steembusiness :)

2018 is so amazing because it's almost certain soooo much will change this year. It's really hard to imagine the extent of it.

Regarding Vice you might just like to google for "SMT & Vice" and you´ll find a lot of information on it. E.g. @Exyle did a video on it as well in case you rather like to watch than to read ;)
I believe only fundamentals in any business, steem is fundamentally strong and transperent there are many coins but we don't know what is their business, plans. I think 2018 will be most rewarding year and steemit will spread more. Most of coins promotion managers now wants to show their Ico through steemit because steemit popularity.
Steem is a very solid project that could see a bit more progress in development to be done faster IMO but besides that we have an awesome Community standing behind it. Like I´ve always stated only the solid coins will survive and steem is definitely one of them :)
I would just say to keep up the good work, keep being consistent, and you will reach you're goal. Thanks for the knowledge that past few months.
