- steem.global version 1.0.0 is now live -

Welcome to the beginning of a new hub for STEEM Network News served both on and off the blockchain. The site steemit.global is an ambitious project with the primary goal to act as a bastion of easily accessible information and news pertaining to STEEM.

The website is currently under heavy construction, with a 1 week goal to have it built and running 100%.

Why We NEED Sites Like steem.global

While information about STEEM and its many functions and abilities has been documented by various citizens of our network it's very apparent that some people are having difficulty finding the information and resources they need in order to fully understand what STEEM is and how it functions.

One of the first things on the agenda is properly documenting the various API modules that ship with the STEEM source code in a format that is easier to digest for non-coders and those unable to parse through the robot-jargon. This allows for easier adoption over the short term and will also aide developers long term to build more on top of the STEEM network.

This post is actually just a test to see how the news feed will pop up on the site. I'll be announcing it later with a proper write up and promotion it deserves later.
