Oh, I so agree, we don't need the roles, but sometimes I feel defined by them or get confused by them, or see others struggle with them. All in all this is such a 'number based society' that I think we all have these moments when we're like 'why does my post earn...' or 'why does my REP stay...' or 'when will I be a Dolphin/Orca...' or - and so on and so on.

Thank you (!) and likewise - I value all my interactions with you and on most days I ignore all the roles and simply talk with people I like :D I hope this place will somehow find a way (on an UX/UI level we can make this happen!) that we all feel human first, instead of experiencing it numbers first :-)
