Open House
Hello Steemiteers, I hope all is well with you all. On yesterday my son and I attended his open house at the new school he will be attending. I'm still shocked that he is going to the 8th grade. My booger is no longer a baby.
This school year will be different simply because we decided to change from a public school to a private charter school. Giovanni score so well on his state required tests that he was offered a scholarship in the gifted program.
Upon arrival to the school I was already pleased at the appearance and as well as the location of the school. He can literally walk to school if needed, which is a great option to have.
The building was packed with parents but the atmosphere was amazing and the building design was unique. After climbing four flights of steps we finally arrive to his counselor and create his schedule.
That was dope in itself that you can select programs that will help guide there future endeavors. I notice that he love playing video games and drawing so we selected the following enrichment courses:
coding, advance art, computer science, and engineering.

I'm excited to see what this school year brings and looking forward to my future programmer to develop into the beautiful flower I know he will be. Just thought I'd share my proud father moment with you guys.
