What would you do with 1,000,000 worth of Steem?
Today I propose a hypothetical question about receiving 1 million Steem coins to see where the users heart is.
If you was given one million Steem coins and told you can not cash them out for a whole year, how would you invest it.
Although you have to wait a year to transfer the balance to your bank account, you can either:
- Keep it all on Steem and let it sit there for the year.
- Send it to the exchange and build a portfolio of multiple cryptocurrencies.
- Power it all up on the steemit platform.

Here is my approach to something like this.
While keeping the whole million on Steem itself is a awesome investment because I believe in the platform, it would have me waiting on the market. This limits my control and I have to just wait it out.
Sending the whole million of Steem to the exchange and building a portfolio would be another great idea. I would keep 400k in Steem and break down the other 600k between other cryptocurrencies across three different markets. This allows me to purchase all coins available which some exchanges doesn't trade all coins.
I choice would honestly be to power the whole million up into Steem power and become a full time steemiteer. The reason I choose this path is because hey, the money is free so I can't miss what I didn't have in the first place and secondly it says a lot about how much I believe in the Steem platform as a whole. That amount of Steem power would be awesome because I then could spend countless hours like I do now on steemit writing articles about multiple topics.
# Giving Back to Others

Most importantly I would do a massive give away each week in the Steem community. The power of my upvote would be so great that I would be able to change someone's life with a simple upvote of 10%.
It would also help me spread the word about Steem to the uninformed and I would create groups to help each individual who wants to help themselves. I'm honestly here on steemit because I believe in the brand Steem is building and I support it whole heartedly.
The financial gains made from steemit are just a bonus to something already so awesome. I've started taking my SBD and converting them to Steem so I can power up.

With 1M Steem I would power up and keep my account at that amount. So much SP will make it easy to earn more by being a generous whale, and all the profit I would put into other cryptos
Perfect approach. The profits made from each post, comment, up vote and re-blogs would be used to invest in other cryptocurrencies on the exchange.
