I agree bernie. I listened to a video conference between Justin Sun and some of the Steem witnesses last night (the conference was four days old). Many of the Steem witnesses were unwilling to negotiate unless the 'hacker' comment was removed from Twitter by JS. I understand why these witnesses feel the way they do but is it really worth forking the who blockchain? JS is only bringing vast resources to the Steem blockchain and I really believe he has the best interest for the Steem blockchain/community. I love the Steem blockchain and am on it daily to play Splinterlands; however, if the current witnesses decide to fork the chain it will most likely be the last time I play on Steem's blockchain. I feel the community as a whole is being held hostage by many of Steem's witnesses. How they cannot see that this acquisition is harmful is beyond me. I know all are worried about the 51% stake from Steem Inc. that was suppose to be used for development. My response is do you realize that Justin gains nothing from Steem's blockchain failing. He has purchased many companies during the last year and has inserted fresh capital into making them a viable part of Tron's ecosystem, why would it be any different with Steem. Unfortunately, due to old Steem witnesses threatening to fork I have sold half of my Steem as I am worried. I believe the bulk of Steem users want to proceed with the acquisition, but the old powers that be are too butt-hurt to know what will benefit Steem in the long run.
