Ha, that first picture is pretty much how I always operated on Reddit. But I agree. Even when I'm in new, I'm a lot more likely to click through anything with a comment and upvote. And since I've started commenting more I actually had someone go back and comment on a blg series I gave up on. If I'd of had fresh content, I may have gotten an upvote or subscriber.
