Thanks for your insights. My main challenge so far, is that I would like to find a way to put content in, that is more "long term" reference. The model seems to cater most to the "instant gratification" people. I like the Trip Advisor forums because there is content there that relates to every possible part of the world. Most of them I don't care about today, but in a year when I plan to go to an area - THEN I will care. The search function sort of helps, but doesn't have the same usefulness as the forum model like TripAdvisor. The popular votes for a PARTICULAR Travel sub-topic area would be helpful for this.
