Steem - The Blockchain that Everything Will Merge With?

This is some far out brainstorming and questioning of potential here. Correct me wherever you see fit. Added perspective/narrative is encouraged.

I question the future of blockchain/crypto development. From the perspective of: What will it look like...how best can these technologies/applications be utilized as sound accommodation and support? What is the greatest benefit(s)?

Social Media seems to be the new "news". It's broadcasting networks 2.0. It's everyone here reporting and investigating. The stories and reporting vary. The stories and reporters are many. This is cool. For far too long throughout history, information has been controlled and manipulated as a form of propaganda. The biggest Military in the world - U.S, acknowledges what a critical role propaganda has played in establishing it's strong hold. It also acknowledges that it is most difficult to continue to utilize propaganda with much effect.

Maybe - we are moving further into a world of "digital identity" and "reputation". Each Being a participant in the World/Social Network. Interesting consideration - because we are all living here.

• Would it make sense to make connecting to things based on some sort of individual human recognition system? So that the process wasn't about "what's your password or private key". Each one is the key.

• By including Everyone in the Network - each person has a vested interest in the network. Each is an individual. The power of the group is many. Participating in the group is incentivized. Non-participation is supported. Meaning, by simply having an account - your interest grows.

• By supporting every account holder in the Network - bad behavior is mostly prevented. This results, because you don't need to do anything in order to be a benefactor, a supported player - who is encouraged to participate...but active participation is voluntary.

• If Everyone or mostly Everyone has a profile - it's a way to support and stay connected to all of Humanity. It makes it a lot easier to 'love thy neighbor'...it's a great way to share with anyone and everyone our best bits of info.

• The Platform is the focal point first, than it's about the applications. It's about the platform first, because the platform is for accommodating all the people. Money and the creation of money is simply an application and tool for everyone.

• Remove the Flagging protocol - but enable down vote. You can pay to place your name in opposition of a post created...and virtual counselling can be arranged to settle the debt created...where you have issue with another's share. In this way, everyone is always exposed. Keep in mind that "bad content" will be limited and or kept to a minimum because everybody will know that their shit is bullshit...so there's no real fooling anyone about anything...unless the play and posting is very well crafted in foolishness.

• Within creating a new global social network...decentralized style. Everyone should be incentivized to participate...to such an extent that the platform is structured in a way where you want/need to put all you got into the network. Starting point being the greatest benefit to the individual in terms of rewards....because this in turn will also be of the greatest benefit to the group. The Starting point incentives for individual participation from the perspective of self-interest...must be in tune and alignment with the greater good of the group. What's good for the group is good for the individual and vice versa.
