Any issues with the plugin to date? Going to launch a new woocommerce project using just steem as the accepted payment. Very interesting and got me curious to try a crypto based project.
The plugin should be stable.
Only issue I have found playing around is if you have a sales price for an item. The plugin duplicates the conversion twice for the regular price and sales price, and determines the converted price for the product based off the regular price V.S. the sales price.
Example: $94.99 $25.49
56.108 STEEM 56.108 STEEM 90.473 SBD 90.473 SBD
I see. I'll check this out. I'll keep you posted. No worries, the frontend and the backend logic for processing the WooCommerce orders. So this issue is isolated on the frontend only.
Thanks for reporting this issue. It will greatly help improve and fix potential issues.
The above screenshot is for a single product as "default" product type.
The above screenshot is for a variable product as "variable" product type.
Can you please let me know your current WooCommerce setup and where are you seeing this calculations with mistakes? Also, what's your WooCommerce and WordPress versions?
So far I cannot replicate on the issue you are experiencing.
Thanks again.
Looking at your first example. The product is $5.00 on sale for $3.50. Below that, the plugin outputs the conversion for both the Regular price and the Sales Price in Steem and SBD. The customer is only going to be charged the final sales price, and not the regular price. Outputting the conversion for the regular price is extra data that does not do anything for the customer. If the numbers above that has the line drawn through them were simply not posted, it would clean up the display. hope this made sense?
Hello, thanks so much for getting back with this issue. I'd take consideration your points with the UI/UX for the price conversions on single product page in WooCommerce. You have a point there.
Initially, I just thought I'd follow the format of WooCommerce on how they handled "Regular Price then Sale Price" where "Regular Price" was slashed. I just realized that it is confusing for users specially with the different conversions with SBD and STEEM currencies.
I'll keep you posted with what I come up with. There would be an upcoming update if I'll be able to include this with the next update. (So far the current version of the plugin is STABLE)
Thanks again for your feedback! I really appreciate it. :)
Thanks!
