RE: Steem's Value vs Newbies's Resources Credits (RC)

in #steem6 years ago

Thank you @crypto.piotr for giving me this opportunity to voice out my view. I have just joined the platform around 3 weeks. Started with zero knowledge about blockchain or cryptocurrency.
As a human, I always thrive for freebies but expecting big returns. For me, everything is still new, and I have trouble understanding your terms. But, bit by bit, I am learning the whole concept. I guess everyone started like me. Hopefully.
This is my opinion so far:

  1. this platform is just like Blogging. You do something for free, and you get money. How much you get? It depends, but not only depends on money invested. Hardwork is the key. I have seen people who spend nothing, but gain thousands, in blog. Same applies. Dont expect you spend thousands, but just sit and do nothing. Correct me if I am wrong.

  2. Minnows can become whales. The blockchain provides you a lot of opportunity to grind token. All you have to do is grab these opportunities. Join the contests, challenges or gamble. In the end of the day, you lose nothing. In fact, you always gain new knowledge.

  3. The platform is unfair for minnows. Well, life is not fair. Someone is born white, someone yellow or black, short, tall. But that what makes it interesting. If everything is fair and equal, life would be black and white. Like #monomade challenge by @monochromes. (I hope I will win next time).

  4. Knowledge is gained as you progress, and after few years, you will look back and realised that this post wont matter to you anymore. But you will see newbies commenting. And you start telling them about your experiences.

Sorry for the long whining. I cant comment much on the system because I am still not professional myself.
Anyway, all the best to all minnows. And congratulations to the whales.

Greetings friend @rawbirdtoe.

Sorry for the long whining. I cant comment much on the system because I am still not professional myself.

Brother do not say that! You just gave me an excellent comment. Thank you.

I greatly appreciate the acceptance that my publication has received.
I am extremely surprised by so much support. Thanks from my heart.

I take this opportunity to ask you a favor.

Knowing these difficult times that Venezuela is going through certain communities have decided to show it´s support by delivering food throughout the territory. Also giving it´s vote of healing to Venezuelan publications in steemit.

For this I am pleased to address you on behalf of my friendly communities @VOTOVZLA AND @STEEMCHURCH. Do you know them?

They are currently opting for a 20k SP delegation sponsored by @theycallmedan. This delegation would allow us to help more people and in a better way.

Maybe you can participate and VOTE for @STEEMCHURCH. Here I leave the link:

Have a blessed day.
Yours, Juan.

Dear @rawbirdtoe

I would like to thank you for accepting my invtation to Juan's post and for dropping by. Appreciate your reply.

We're received more comments than I ever expected and reading it all will take me some time :)

I'm not sure if I ever mentioned (probably I did) but I'm helping group of friends win 1st place in small contest. Is there any chance you could help out and open this link to dpoll?

And drop a vote on SteemChurch.

I would absolutely appreciate it.

Yours
Piotr

Dear @rawbirdtoe

I only had a chance to read your old comment just now. I appreciate you taking time to share your thoughts with us.

I have just joined the platform around 3 weeks

Welcome on board :) Are you Malaysian? I lived there for many years lately (Penang - loved it there).

What is your experience with Steemit one month after your comment? Hope you're doing fine.

Enjoy your weekend,
Piotr

Yea I am Malaysian. Im staying in the Borneo part if Malaysia. Sabab to be exact. I was in Penang for a year plus and just came back recently. The place is just wonderful!

Im having tough times in steem. But that is not holding myself from posting contents and earning small bits of steem.

Im balancing between my work and steem-ing.
Thank you and hope you are doing fine as well.

Regards.

Dear @rawbirdtoe

I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficult time on Steemit. Indeed it's not easy to build strong follower base here.

fingers crossed
Piotr

Hard work and correct strategy will pay. Tine will tell.
Finger crossed.
Thanks @crypto.piotr
