Shout Out For People to Tweet for Steem Listing on Coinbase
I am making this quick post and video to ask everyone to please take a minute out of your day to go and tweet for #steem to be listed on coinbase. Check out the YouTube vid below (dtube was having technical difficulties).
Brian Armstrong, CEO of coinbase has tweeted again asking which cryptocurrency should be listed on coinbase exchange. I spent some time this morning reading through 200 comments and couldn't see any promoting steem for a listing.
I think we all know what a listing on coinbase would mean for both the price of steem and prominence of our amazing blockchain.
Check out my screen below for an example of my tweet to Brian.
I have covered all the steps for this promotion in the video above but here they are again listed in order.
Reply to the tweet with some reasons why steem shows utility/value and why it should be listed on coinbase. Including the hashtag #steem. Here is a link to the tweet:
Please go through the comments and hart/like as many tweets recommending #steem as you can. This will increase the impact of this campaign.
Consider retweeting other comments recommending steem and the coinbase tweet itself.
Finally, post screenshots of your tweet in the comments of this post and I will upvote them to the best of my ability - I'm a dolphin with 7000 SP so my vote won't be massive but my appreciation will 🙂
As I mentioned in the video I will be tagging in some prominent steemians asking for help both in supporting my campaign with resteems etc, but also maybe to help voting some of the people who show proof of tweet in the comments.

Sounds like a blast m8. I used to kayak a lot when I was a kid in the lake District in the North of England. I might share some videos of me hiking in the mountains of Wales this summer. When I need to get away from the city out into the wilderness, I jump on a train and visit Snowdonia national park in Wales 🙂

Cheers cryptopie. Yes, I saw Dan's post. I actually started this whole thing off as I made this post and shared it on twitter on Thursday morning before anyone else had seen the tweet. As well as being one of the first two people to tweet on Brian Armstrong's twitter post.
It feels really good to know that this post I made inspired Dan to do a similar post and that together we have inspired a lot of steemians to comment on the tweet and give us a real fighting chance to get listed on coinbase.

Yeah, it would be massive to get in coinbase. I'm not someone who focuses on price too much but I think they're is a decent percentage chance we're in a market turn around phase. If steem listing coincides with a market up turn it could really catapult the price. I've got a bunch of BAT and the one thing I learned was that CB listing in a bear market doesn't mean sht to price. But in bull market it's crazy town lol
The biggest advantage would be legitimacy and ease of buying. I'd love to be able to just buy Steem for dollars and bypass fees between LTC/Steem etc.
I'm hope it will happen cause CB have been listing coins recently with less utility or community than steem!

Thanks for tweeting but unfortunately when you tweet it like that from your feed it doesn't show up in Brian Armstrong's tweet. I've got a feeling coinbase will simply apply some automatic script to count the amount of mentions of particular cryptos with it only counting one per user.
Ha ha, that is conjecture. But one thing I'm pretty certain about us that they'll only count what's actually in the comments of the tweet from Brian Armstrong.
Could I ask you kindly just to copy the text of your tweet and put it as a reply in Brian Armstrong's tweet?
It would mean a lot to me as we're only a few places from having the most replies of support on that tweet.

At the moment it's a close run thing between digibyte and steem with very few other coins being mentioned. If you have a twitter account m8, just pop on over via the link in this post and ask for steem to be listed using the #steem in the text and citing a few of the aspects that make steem unique.

I've pretty much given up on crypto, lost far too much...
Hey m8... Well I can understand your dispondency completely, especially if you bought near to the market peak or even halfway through this down turn.
I'd advise patience though, I think there is still a few more peaks and crashes before this technology actually find its final applications and then 90% of crypto will die. I see it like a long term game. If you can end up with tokens for the winning few Blockchain projects, then you can retire off the back of this stuff in say 10-20 years time.
In the mean time I really do think it will go bullish again and then crash again, I'm just not going to make the mistakes I did in early 2018, not selling everything. I could have bought back over 50000 steem right now with the profits if I'd cashed out all my crypto when BTC was nearing the $20000 level.
Ha ha, anyway.... I'm like a fckn crypto preacher with this comment... I'm gonna shut up now 🤣😉.....
