There are all types everywhere. Geniuses and morons. The honorable and dishonorable. Alas, Steemit is no different. Never mind what other people think and just do your own thing. Be your own harshest judge. If you pass that test, you'll almost certainly pass the test of anybody whose opinion you'd actually care about.
BTW ... there's nothing wrong with being pretty so don't apologize.
BTW2 ... you may find that possessing a beautiful face doesn't hold much water with those who spend much time thinking. Depth, or lack of it, is established pretty quickly. A "beautiful mind" ... well, that's another thing entirely.
