I am convinced that Followers are much overrated by many people here. Engaged readers are far more important.

Exactly, it becomes the bitter truth. I always get caught up with numbers and quantity but if I just have 100 followers who tuned in every time it would be perfect. Imagine having only 100 followers but those 100 followers comment and interact all the time!
