I cannot math, I has the dumb. But this actually made me hopeful. It wouldn't take Steem becoming as big as BTC for it to change people's lives. Just as big as LTC is now. ;) Hell, it was changing my life when it was ten bucks a year ago.

Indeed, it is still changing people's lives now in various ways. Give it 5,10, 20 dollars on top and it literally changes 1000s of people's lives and if you add the effect on their local communities, many thousands more.
