It's hard starting out on a platform such as Steemit, and often brings about confusion and questions.
I started on Steemit about a week ago, and am only now starting to understand the STEEM platform. You may be one of the users who believes that posting a lot and upvoting a lot will lead to success. However this form of thinking is WRONG. The creators of STEEM have actually created the social media platform to defend agains the use of bots and or plagiarism with posts. The algorithm for upvoting yielding STEEM power is created such that as you vote more, the power and payout of each decreases. Not only this but voting on popular content is what pays the crypto bucks, and voting before a blog is popular is integral to your success as a Steem'r. The thought being that a human can read into quality of a post's content much better than a multi-voting bot and that this will yield better content quality.
