Well, Steemit is still beta and it is quite complex system but there are definitly problems: flagging, reward distribution and content discovery. The idea is good but it needs few fixes.

I do not see a problem in the program code of the Steemit, it works acceptable. The main problem here is the human factor
The problem is the system itself, people are just adapting to it as you and Darwin wrote ;)
