Steem is backed by blockchain ...it wont go down..that is what makes it different from others...

    Classic case just yesterday when Steemit (the site) went down but you still access the STEEM blockchain via the linked apps such as Zappl, Busy, Dtube - the STEEM blockchain never went down :)
