Bitcoin price can easily rise to 2,000 or 10,000 dollars
Anatoliy Knyazev CEO of Exante online brokerage said this in an interview with Forklog.net . In the interview he mentions that the Winklevoss brothers' application for bitcoin ETF in the US is bigger than block size quarrels or even the halving. Saying that Americans are ready to pay twice as much for bitcoin because they would rather go through a broker than have to put money on a cryptocurrency exchange. If the Winklevoss twins do get approval they will open up cryptocurrency to many more people.
Why does this matter to me?
With another large jump in price bitcoin will also draw attention to other coins and other platforms. Steem and Steemit along with few others are ready for that spotlight. This is why curation is just as important as creation right now. We are shaping the outward face of our platform. Ultimately the success or failure of it is up to us.
I think if we read, share, discuss, and truly enjoy posts on Steemit then that will all take care of itself.
It is as simple as that. Read the things you upvote and discuss them. This will have create a great sounding board for ideas and new posts. Share and enjoy things on Steemit. We can approach content creation with a job like mentality. There is nothing wrong with that, but passion and enjoyment are important too. Do not get so caught up in chasing that number beside your post. Relax put forth something with dedication and passion and you will have done us all a great service. Hopefully in return we will notice you as well.

Upvoting more for your advice that the idea that the Winklevii ETF will be a big deal. As I recall, it's going to be listed on an exchange that nobody has ever heard of.
I think Bitcoin will sit on the launchpad until Core releases Segwit and we see that that goes smoothly, followed by the start of a flood of innovation and continuous scaling. If none of that starts to happen by fall/winter, I'll start something of my own--swapping out of BTC for whatever.
You are right its a lesser known exchange. They originally were going to be on NASDAQ then switched to batsglobalmarket. The thing is the volume for bats in usd per day is in the billions. In my opinion that is a lot of new money coming into the crypto world. I feel like bats will be more trusted than any of our cryptomarkets by fiat users. Just my opinion and I am wrong a lot.
I did hear that there are arguably good reasons for bats exchange. Maybe it will turn out to be a brilliant move? Regardless, there are numerous reasons for Bitcoin and the other well designed altcoins to 'Moon' in 2016+.
