RE: Managing the Voting Power of Multiple Staked Tokens

in #steem5 years ago

@abh12345 I have read this post a number of times and if I understand the basic premise is the if I vote 50% on a post it will vote STEEM at 50% and PAL at 50%. Assuming I have staked SP and PAL. My question is does this happen no matter what front end I use?

Sort:

Assuming this is staked to the same account with no rules set. If you vote for a post on any front end you will use your Steem VP. If that post happens to contain a #palnet tag, then your PAL VP will also be reduced by the same percentage.

The 'problem' is that you are likely to vote on less #palnet posts (and comments), and so the VPs will be out of sync.

WOW, thanks for the quick reply. I use steemauto and was wondering if my votes were using and/or affecting my PAL VP. I am assuming I could get an .pal account, delegate all my PAL and if it votes at 100% that would be a better use of my PAL.

Thanks for the great post I will probably work on getting a .pal account and learn how to set it up with @holger80's awesome steemrewarding bot.
