Litepay has the same issue that all those blockchains have. The litecoin can only handle less than 20 transactions per second. Plus, even though it is less expensive than BTC, it still is a lot higher transaction fee than BTS.
Right now it looks like it is averaging .5 per second. 35 cents doesn't seem too bad of a transaction fee if you are doing international transactions but yeah it does seem like sbd and steem are better options. https://bitinfocharts.com/litecoin/
