Last week I decided to buy some steem since prices in my opinion are pretty tempting at the moment.But as soon as I bought some I couldn't transfer it into Steemit platform and that is because Binance was doing a wallet maintenance. I assumed that it would probably have to do with "blackout" that happened to Steemit and lasted for a few hours the previous week.
So I decided to wait. But it seems that deposits and withdrawals for steem on Binance are "suspended" at the moment since this maintenance keeps going for almost a whole week now...which is kinda weird since I've witnessed other maintenances too, but they usually last a day or two...
I don't really know how much does it affect Steemit or steem's price, since I am not an expert on the field, but I assume it does since Binance is one of the largest exchanges out there...
Sure there are more ways to bring your steem in the platform and one of them is by using the well known @blocktrades
Does anyone have any kind of information on that?

It takes a lot of time to repair wallet..many bits must be put in a place... :)
I would guess they are pretty busy. Binance EOS wallet came online this week. TRX main net wallet is still not live. They also had that pump and dump unusual trading.
If they are running a full STEEM node then it would need to be rebuilt (maybe tested) after the crash. Binance is usually reliable so hopefullly the wallet will be back up soon.
Obviously they must run a full node.
Seems like lots of shit happened during this week, Anyhow one full week is still a long time "repair" a wallet

Bought some Steem today on Binance. Wanted to withdraw to power up. Sadly saw that it is still suspended. So I googled and saw your post. Gonna wait a few days otherwise will buy ETH or something else and swap on another exchange.
I think it will be solved in the following days. Probably had to do with the crash that occurred in the platform during last week. But if you are in a hurry probably you should do that
I actually don't know how binance works, never tried it before, try and contact the help desk, twice I've made a wrong transaction with blocktrade and they returned my fund safely in my wallet, my friends too.
Sorry about what happened though.

Of course @blocktrades is great also. They are pros.
Poloniex for example has the same status for over a week now, so it's not only Binance.
Poloniex is in this situation for months mate. Search better
Sorry, I didn't use them for month so had no Idea it's normal there. Just checked them after I saw the maintenance at Binance.
