It has happened! Steem has now Open Skies...
Seems like finally people are realizing that the Smart Media Tokens are a game changer.
If this is the case I would say that the MarketCap would be at a good point at around Ethereums... Perhaps 50 billion USD?
The only thing which Ethereum in my eyes has really going for it are the ERC20 ICO tokens. Which can be almost entirely replaced in functionality by SMT tokens, which are also easier to understand than infinitely more complex customizable Smart Contracts which no one can really understand a 100%.
Also SMT's will come with easily integrate-able components on Websites, which Ethereum has not...
If SMT's are used on thousands of websites,
the underlying Steem will be widely known and used. This really can be a break-through!

smt's implementation is the only challenge if it gets simple and easy to use thane just imagine

Steem will be around 10 usd in april but i like sbd more for short term.
If SMT's are out I am prepared mentally to see 50 USD in april. ;)

Steem will associate with 30 usd in april however I like sbd more for here and now.

@mexbit, Thanks for the information. Yup...steem price passed over $5 now. Now we can enjoy with steem and earn multiple times via steem exchange or increase power up. Steem now rocketing. SMT coming up next steem will be awesome in this year.

Wow! I really didn't think about this too much until this post! SMT does seem like it could replace ethereum. We could see more mainstream adoption over the next year.
