Hello steem, welcome to my blog, today I’m bringing to my steem friends the update of things happening around our new apartment that we’re setting up by the help of Steem.

Last time, I explained to Steem brothers and sisters how securing an apartment became necessary for my family as things are getting more ruffled everyday in my country, I and my wife did some analysis and decided to go that tough path of putting up a bungalow apartment in order to salvage huge money that we’re paying for house rent yearly.

Did Spud affected the progress of the house project?

The answer is very simple; NO is the answer, though we powered up during Spud 🥔 all our liquid steem which we intended selling to augment our fund for the building project, we’re glad that we did, we don’t want to be takers from Steem but rather builders of Steem, like I’ll always say, powering up my steem account is also a win win turnout because my vision is to grow steadily in my Steem journey. My source of income is not Steem, that we’re even tampering with our liquid steem at time is just as a result of the urgency of the building project. Yes, we really need to stop paying for outrageous house 🏡 rent here.

Now I’m happy that Spud went. successfully and the house project is still progressing too. It’s really becoming a challenge to me in managing my 12 hours everyday, as a father of two and my lovely wife, giving them good attention is paramount like @surfermarly pointed out recently on her Steem post and on her Twitter handle concerning human values. After that, I also should give attention to my clients even though I work and consult from home mostly, and thirdly, steem shouldn’t be left behind. What about giving attention to the building site? I make sure that I report to the site every day ad to making sure that nothing is lacking. It’s also interesting for me seeing how far I’ve helped myself in saving some cost of building through doing those things that I know how to handle well like building of the casement windows and so on.

As I’m busy day after day with my activities, I still make out time to build those windows, little by little, I know that it’ll take sometime which was the reason why I started building them ahead of time.

The windows are turning out beautiful and satisfying as I behold them with an encouraged mind. We’ve already started making plans on purchasing rods and planks that are needed for for lintel chaining and parapets, hopefully all these will be ready before this week running out.

One thing that I’m missing out which I’ll try and make out time for is my #seven77 challenge, it’s been days that exercised last on the seven77 challenge, our friend @nathanmars I hope you’ll understand and pardon us.
