RE: STEEM Thoughts: The Power of a Vote!

in #steem7 years ago

Hello @spiritualmax! Of course it's nice to realize that your voice is important to someone))) It's a pity that accounts with a high voice strength rarely vote for beginners.

And here there is another important factor. Stimit must contain original and interesting content, so that more people join it. And when a newcomer comes and places his very good drawings, essays, photos and does not get votes and views for it, he does not understand the meaning. I believe that the support of newcomers should be greater so that it would be beneficial for them to post more good content and contribute to the development of their account.

I really do believe that it is easier to see the money part as a nice side effect! If you do keep this in mind it is easier. Don’t look t the money side, look for interaction. This will pay off more in the end and inthe mean tim you will a community!

I agree, but it would be great to evaluate the quality of the content not by the author's rating. but on the value of information, agree;)

I fully agree!

Well, in all fairness, it's hard to not think about the money with dollar signs everywhere on the pages :D

It is indeed hard to neglect. But I am trying and changing i. To be honest 2 weeks ago when I did log in to steem, the first thing I did was to ran through my comments of the previous day to see if I did score an upvote somewhere but since a week I don’t care anymore. The first thing I do know is to check if I did receive new replies. Glad that I could change my behaviour, its more fun this way!

That's exactly it.

The big problem here is that you spend a lot of time in Steemit when you're beggining, but when your position solidifies and you're getting rewards with no work people don't feel "hungry" anymore and they stop helping the community.

This is a flaw that we have to think about how to surpass. In my opinion the next hardfork will bring you many advantages through communities, as older "players" will be motivated to start working for their communities again... tribal mentality and all.

We'll see.

Thanks for the comment!

Creative people, artists differ from others. There are very few artists. They always create interesting content, no matter how great their reputation. This is because artists need to show their art to other people. Therefore, in real life they hold exhibitions. But when the artist just starts to publish the work on the steemet and does not receive views and awards, he believes that his art is not needed here.
Therefore, I believe that good art-pictures should be supported if they earn little. You can for example wait 6 days, if the picture has not received more than $5, then it can be supported.
How do you think @spiritualmax?

Well, that is up to the art community... Art is something that is highly subjective, and it's niche... Steem is still very small so a niche topic like art can be hard now, but this also means that it is the best time for artists to come in and make their ruckus.

There are also some communities that support artists already, like @slothicorn, or even great artists who made their name popular here like @itinerantartist or @shinyforest

thanks for the info...
