Hey Matt, stunning piece of writing and I wholehearted agree. I have been on a music community website for over 10 years and despite having over 2K downloads, didn't earn a dime. Though it was certainly a social thing and gave me confidence to post stuff. So the few cents I have earn being on steemit for just a couple of weeks feels just awesome. I do hope Steemit becomes THE #1 platform of choice.
