You make some good points and I agree the increase of people using pay for votes is a huge problem. I see the sellers of upvotes as noting more than an infestation of parasites.
However the problem is surmountable.
We are the ones who have the real power to solve it.
I think I have found the solution and it took a very very long time and lots and lots of work.
I have done a few tests on other account but the proof will come when I start making my own posts in a few weeks.
i paid for @minnowbooster to get an upvote for this post, just to make it show in the hot section for a while, and guess what? it didn't, it was like the post number 24 in the list.
