Why Delegate Steem power?
- Empower an application, author, or curator to make higher votes. @dtube, @dsound, @utopian-io, and @dlive have large delegations from Steemit Inc which help incentivize the use of these apps by providing higher rewards for authors using them and receiving upvotes. Thousands of individual users have delegations to help provide more effective curation.
- Earn money as an investor using voting bots. For an investor simply hoping to hold and earn without taking time to read posts and upvote every day, delegation to voting bots provides a transparent and simple system to get automatic daily payouts. Delegating to me currently earns about 36% APR in Steem for delegations. When the Steem and/or SBD price goes higher, these earnings also can increase significantly. On SteemD I see you are not voting for any witnesses yet which is normal with about only 5% of users on Steem voting for a witness. Meanwhile, witness votes are the most important we make on Steem because witnesses create our blockchain in real time and are our chosen community leaders.
The easiest way to fully participate is to choose one person we trust as a "proxy" to make all of our witness votes for us. Will you please either add me to your witness votes or set me as a proxy at https://steemit.com/~witnesses because this will empower you to indefinitely support me for witness and increase the funding for @budgets?

You don't need a web space. You can copy and paste any picture, even from your hardware.

Hi Jerry, delegated some SP to you but I messed up somehow by upgrading it to the max I got. Now when I try I cannot sign in with steemconnect.com when I delegate the wheel (at SIGN IN) just keeps spinning. Anyone else has that problem and/or a solution? Thanks!
Thank you very much @cryptochallenge for delegating SP to me. I suggest you keep 15 SP so the account can work smoothly. You can either wait for some rewards to come in and the account will work again, or un-delegate, with a 7-day cool down, and re-delegate afterwards at a lower value.

Great tutorial @jerrybanfield I learned a lot I didnt know about Delegation! Also, you can delegate your Steem Power using steembottrackers website and click the tools tab! Something I do not think a lot of people know about either yet :D

Hey Jerry thanks for the post. However, down the road wouldn't this kind of a system result in Steemit being full of posts that don't actually contain value but just had the most capital to bid? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of steemit?

This is a very informative post. I'm going to resteem it so that I can see it in my blog. I'm not there yet, but I can see myself possibly delegating voting power at some point down the road. Gotta work on finding those trusted curators who see things pretty close to the way I do :)

It's my first time watching You and You seem like a guy who knows what he's talking about, it's actually nice to listen to You :p I kinda hoped for an opposite topic though... There's so much demand for Steem delegation that minnows can't really get to it. Blocktrades is already spent and makes preorders but I have no idea how to order it now. I've also tried minnowbooster and it's going to be my 2nd day of waiting but it seems there are much more profitable offers than mine so no high hopes there. Perhaps You could make a video regarding buying delegation for minnows? That is, if minnows should even consider this but I've heard it's not a bad thing. I'd really appreciate it!

At a time where questions are springing out on comment sections and on different steemit communities on Discord, whatsapp and telegram on how to delegate steem power to others expecially the newbies who are constantly experiencing bandwidth issues, I believe this tutorial will greatly help in answering those questions and it is easily comprehensible too.
