Me and my girlfriend were having a discussion the other night about taxes and cryptocurrency. Basically, I don't think anyone really likes where their tax money is going, yet we all agree (well mostly) that we need taxes. We need infrastructure and to help support those in our country, and sometimes outside our country, who need it.

Basically we both think that a bit more freedom in choosing where your tax money goes would be an amazing idea. Everyone can still pay their taxes, but now they have this ability to allocate it towards a certain direction, so instead of spending an atrocious amount on war because our politicians say so, we spend exactly what we need to on infrastructure and getting shit done, and then allocate the rest based on the people's interest and ideas.

Obviously it would need some work, but the potential is there
